When I first got cookie she was 4months old, I adopted her from a lady who didn't know anything about pomeranians. Cookie wasn't house broken, was under weight and going through "puppy uglies" where a pom loses their puppy coat and their adult coat grows in.
Cookie is the perfect example of people underestimating how much work goes into raising a puppy, they are like babies and need all the time and attention you have. Long nights, constant toilet breaks, barking and cuddles are just some of the things to expect when you get a puppy. The lady I adopted cookie from had two children under 5 leaving very little time to house break what essentially is another child.
Before you sign up to get a pet think long and hard about the commitment your making, they are your family and to them you are their whole world. Love them and treat them with all the care in the world ❤
